Facebook, Instagram and Twitter make billions of dollars a year based on the work of other users. If they even gave 1% of that money to their users (similar to how youtube does) each user could potentially make good money from the platform. This is what Trendit is aiming to do, build a social media network that will pay our users to share content. It was difficult before to keep track of payments and verify and pay users but with the innovation of the blockchain paying users became much much easier allowing for platforms like Trendit to be built.
