I've succeeded in buying BTC. But buying an altcoin like XP are complicated on Coinexchangeio, the steps required aren't clear and I can't. And I've tried for hours. I just want to buy a few hundred dollars worth. Any ideas out there?   Huh

No, Ripple is much different, valued at over a dollar n ow, XP means eXperience points, its less than a cent and its for gamers.

I've put XP in the box above "Show all currencies". Then help states,
Click on the 'Actions' tab and then click on 'Deposit'.   Where is the Actions tab?

To buy eXperience Points, you should choose an Exchange that support this kind of cryptocurrency.
In a quick google search I found this one: NovaExchange

I bought some XP coins from CoinExchange. It was a bit hassle. But wasn't a greater issue.

For some reason I have $68 in my Coinbase Bitcoin account, but they in three separate purchases. Is there a method of amalgamating them so I can buy a coin?

Boy, if these coin exchanges used an interface that wasn't designed for nerdy professional traders they would do much better. Complexity makes the system crash, like now.
