https://snowgem.org/downloads/snowgemparams.zip

It's here.

I have both. Even another one SnowgemParams in snowgem folder. And still.

Did you try with the name: Snowgem? Upper case of the first character?

You need this one: Create snowgem.conf to snowgem folder

Code:

Error: Unable to start HTTP server. See debug log for details.

snowgem.conf

Please use empty snowgem.conf file for Windows. You can only get the address to mine on pool with this wallet.

Why does the reward increase every block?

It's slow start, it increases to 20 SNG.

So, there is no reason to mine it early as there is no reward for getting in early?

[Press Ctrl+C to exit] [Set 'showmetrics=0' to hide]
     Downloading blocks | 829 / ~840 (98%)
            Connections | 1
  Network solution rate | 410634 Sol/s

further synchronization does not go!

Please use the latest version here: https://snowgem.org/downloads/snowgem-1.0.1-windowsx64.zip

However, windows wallet has a bug that it can't sync after block 829 while Linux can.
At least, you can create a wallet to mine.

Thanks,
Txid.

Already tried this one - nothing have changed. Good for me - I have a buddy, who have created wallet address for me. I thought the reason is location of wallet and roaming folder on different disks, but it isn't. Will try something tomorrow.
Thanks for help anyway.

By examining the debug.log in %appdata%\snowgem, I noticed that at block 829 the daemon starts banning all peers for "misbehaving" with the reason "BAN THRESHOLD EXCEEDED", including itself. So that might be a clue for devs why the windows wallet is stuck at that block.

I've got snowgemd running with mining enabled.

how long does it take to see mining results using a cpu? will getunconfirmedbalance show mining progress?

Also is there a way to increase the default number of threads? I have access to a fairly fast server with 24 cores which will still be cpu mining, but will be a considerably higher sol rate than my laptop!

you're little cpu is going up against over 1000 gpus.  you're not really going to get anything.  maybe .0001 snowgem.

I just found my first block solo mining but it doesn't appear in my balance. Am I missing something?
