Future of bitcoin ?

I am not sure if everyone has noticed about the high transaction charge I mean network fee to use bitcoin I think this will create negative impact as noone will be willing to pay such a huge transaction charge and if things go this way then I dont think bitcoin will ever be used as a mode of payment and also traction itself takes too long which is not the case with Litecoin or Ripple.This is the first time I am feeling skeptical about the future of bitcoin whether bitcoin will be used with such high charge or people will just switch to better altcoins

The bitcoin is going through taught time from high transaction fee to slow transaction speed, and from one correction to another. Few days ago, there is news of the Lightning network, the network that would speed up the bitcoin transactions to be more faster than ever but I don't know why the bitcoin developer are still silent about implementing of the lightning network.

Do more research on ripple and you will find it is centralised and the tokens were premined and the company behind Ripple own most of the xrp tokens which they created out of thin air. Buy them and you are a mug (yes you might sell to a greater fool though. good luck with it).

However your concerns about bitcoin are valid.

IMO Dash is the better altcoin. though bitcoin cash seems to be the default

Media enthusiasm about Bitcoin is slowly decreasing and shifting towards other coins. You can even see the big push with Ripple. Ironically if people use less Bitcoin, transaction fees will become lower and Bitcoin will become usable again. Best times for Bitcoin was from 2014-2016 when price was relatively stable and low, and media attention was lowered. This will come again.

We all have noticed that, this is nothing new and in fact it seems the problem is getting worse by the day, however there is not a reason to panic yet, there are solutions already being implemented to solve those issues and when that happens people will be able to use bitcoin for its intended purpose which is to be a currency, I know that is taking too long but we need to be patient.

The first problem is that the Lightning Network may not be particularly user friendly for a user. As the above image ironically depicts, nothing about the process seems intuitive or easy to understand

it is very hard and only for some people who can understand it,and it will cause a huge blow for Bitcoin itself if they can not make it simple or easy to understand.
and many more.
in the end people still trying to figure it out how to make it happen,
we have a solution,but it is not good enough at this moment because it has a flaw.

All i know  is bitcoin will be my greatest investment in my entire life, been holding more than 10 btc cause i know after 1o years it will be a worth a million dollars, my family will thank me for what i did.
