Hey guys, is it me or is the BTC client not receiving anything at the moment? Has anyone tried? I just sent 30 BTC to my client but it's still not showing anything so is anyone else experiencing a problem?

Check your number of connections in the client.  Check the block count on your client and make sure it agrees with http://blockexplorer.com/ - while there, search for the address itself to see if the network has confirmed it yet.

Failing those, search for your address on http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin - if it's there, wait a while for the transaction to be confirmed.

Went to block explorer, it's down Sad

from this one http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin/

says,
Quote
There are 427 unconfirmed transactions (131093 bytes):

There are 392 low priority transactions.

134,930 is the total block count which is same as the latter website.

does this mean it is frozen?

aww...

http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/http://blockexplorer.com/

On Bitcoincharts, use Ctrl+F to search for the address you used.  SgtSpike is right, just chill for a bit.

EDIT:  heh, the DownForEveryoneOrJustMe link just changed to "It's not just you!" in between when I posted that and now.  And back to "It's just you." now that I've finished typing that sentence.  Don't worry about it for now; BlockExplorer has been flaky in the past.  Another block was just confirmed (134,931), as it always will continue doing.
