I fucking hate, having my posts deleted.
Here's my deleted posts, from the GasCoin ann thread;

Quote
iGotSpots, releasing with a noob account, people don't like that. You make a coin, you own the coin.

Wait, what? 4 second blocks?? Are you on glue? The orphan / stale rate is going to be ridiculous.

Quote
Scratch that. Sticking with 4 second blocks. Orphan rate was down to 36% on testnet, which is somewhere between 15-20% lower than Fastcoin's 12 second blocks

You know what orphans are, right? Big difference between 4 ppl on Testnet, and hundreds of people on live. But what ever, release it

Released under a false name, released knowing full well, a 4 second block time, is not going to work, and, a self moderated thread, so noone can say anything truthful.

I apologize for being late. We are doing our best to release a working client and will keep this thread updated. It will be soon. I'll post here and give a 15 minutes warning before I release the client and source.

Sorry, but we would rather work a little longer than release a half-working, broken piece of shit.

Thanks

Am I wrong on my math?

{
"blocks" : 605,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 0.11747971,
"errors" : "",

"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"networkhashps" : 98293153,
"pooledtx" : 0,

}

Current - 605 * 4 / 60 = 40.33 Minutes mined
'launch time' - 12:08
current time - 12:21:45 AM
12:21:45 AM - 40 minutes = 11:37 ish
12:08 - 11:37 = 31 minutes pre-mined

Pre-mined.

The difficulty re-targeting might not be keeping up with the influx of users very well yet. I don't find that very surprising.

(But 4 second blocks? That's a joke, right?)

Pfeff (iGotSpots) told me to do at least 8 second blocks, but r3wt managed to get the 4 second blocks working. Please post your comments back in the thread, word for word if you want, and they will stay. I only deleted them to avoid confusion on release time, that's all

It's not hard to get retarded values to "work". They just work terribly.

I have a clock on my computer, I never updated my account to the right timezone because I don't really care. I mean, I can take a picture of us working real fast if you want but I don't know what your whole point is here
