Hello!

I want to apologize first for my bad English ...

I also point out that I have asked the following question synonymous to "https://coinforum.de/topic/9717-wechsel-von-multibit-0518-nach-electrum-303-transaktions-liste-leer/"!

I have done a change of the client. My wallet was to be switched from MultiBit to Electrum.

For this I have created in Electrum a recipient address. At this address, I sent out a small amount of Bitcoins from MultiBit.

These surfaced in Electrum's list of transactions. Then I sent the rest on the same way.

After a computer restart I started Electrum. The transaction list is now empty! Even after a few hours of running time, nothing changes.

What am I doing wrong? Please help! Many Thanks...

Best regards

Alex...

Are you carefully shutdown and restart your computer if you are just remove the computer from the power possible the file is not fully committed to disk same as you made wallet in electrum and your computer was crash and after restart your wallet is gone including the private keys and seed..
Do you have any save backup like seed or private keys.. If you don't have these its impossible right now to get your electrum wallet back..

Can you try this and maybe your electrum wallet just made a new wallet that is why you can't see your transaction history.
Try this open your electrum>file>open> and appdata folder >and then open electrum folder> you can see the wallet folder..
Direct folder C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Electrum\wallets
If you seen that your wallet has 2 wallet.dat or default.dat just choose one and open to test if its your old wallet if not try the other one..
If still not i think its impossible right now to get your wallet back..

Can you give me your bitcoin address or TXID where you send from multibit to electrum wallet..

Multibit classic sets fees that are too low for the bitcoin network. so you need to import or sweep your multibit classic private keys in electrum. There is no other way to get the bitcoins into your electrum wallet.  Export your private keys as per this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaijbTcxsv8 . Then import them into a new electrum wallet or sweep them into your existing wallet.

Hello!

Thanks for the answers! I needed some time because I'm sick. I would like to briefly respond to your answers:

 1. I use Electrum not under Windows but under Ubuntu.
 2. The wallets are ok. My electrum has a little bug. It can not be stopped and continues in the background. That's why I was unable to see any transactions when I restarted. This was blocked in the background.
 3. I have exported my private key after the youtube manual https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaijbTcxsv8. The key can not be imported into Electrum. There are several keys in the exported file. One per line. No key can be imported. The Next button in the "Create keystore from a master key"-window does not become active. I can not get any further at this point. Where could the problem be?
 4. I signed in to https://pool.viabtc.com to use the "Transaction Accelerator". The free pool of 100 TXIDs is unfortunately always occupied immediately. For the paid service, I would have to deposit something first. Of course this does not work anymore with my Multibit and at Electrum my credit is not yet available. That's a vicious circle.

Meanwhile, I no longer see the forest in front of trees. What can I do above all in point 3 that the import of the keys works in Electrum?

Best regards
Alex!

The video was created using the older v2.9.3 version of Electrum. However, the import options were (silently) changed in the latest v3.x version of Electrum. As such, the options specified in the video only allow import of "Master" private keys (aka "xprv's") in the latest versions of Electrum... you cannot import single "WIF" format keys (the ones you get from MultiBit Classic) that start with "5", "L" or "K"

for v2.9.3, to import WIF keys you use: "Standard Wallet" -> "Use Public or Private Keys"
for v3.x, to import WIF keys you use: "Import Bitcoin Address or private keys"

for v3.x, to import WIF keys you use: "Import Bitcoin Address or private keys"

That's it! Great. Many Thanks. I could now import the multibit keys into Electrum.
Now I see there the previously created with Multibit transactions ...
