You can send some cash in the mail or bank transfer to bitcoin central and buy some bitcoins with these funds.

Thank you Davout,

but HOW ? Sending "cash in the mail" is something I won't do: there is no chance for my mail to cross the ocean, I Think.
For the second solution, could you be more precise ?

I have a PayPal account, isn't there a possibilty to use it, for example ?
Thanks

You can buy LibertyReserve with Paypal after some registration at exchangezone.com

And then buy bitcoins with Libertyreserve.

Really it sucks...
Since one week I have tried to buy those bitcoins, there is no way. I have created tons of accounts in dozens of websites, like Liberty Reserve, or I don't know what... and not a single bitcoin could be bouhgt.

Could someone here buy bitcoin and HOW ?

I'm located in Paris, with a couple of newspaper sheets mail is fine, browse a bit the forums you'll see that it's pretty common Smiley

Well, if you have a french/european bank account it's probably the safest option, send an e-mail to support@bitcoin-central.net if you want to do that.

I have a PayPal account, isn't there a possibilty to use it, for example ?

You'll have to go on #bitcoin-otc on IRC, these are the over the counter trades, people might take it.

Liberty Reserve is like PayPal except it can't be reversed, no chargebacks = safe bitcoin trades for the seller.

I'm in Paris too and I bought my first bitcoins with bitcoin4cash.com.  It worked like a charm.

I've recently implemented a similar service.  Checkout my signature.

Good Evening Grondilu, the wire is done! I think you will receive the funds today or the day after !

Good evening

Hi.  Might be a bit longer I'm afraid.  Probably friday.

If you're french please post on the french thread and tell us about yourself.  We are especially interested in learning how people find out about bitcoin.

Yes, I'm also curious why you think this.

I have mailed cash from Europe to North America several times and it never failed to cross the ocean so far.

Being afraid of sending cash in the mail is understandable if you've never done it.
Personnally I was pretty skeptical about until I received some bitcoin-central.net account fundings Cheesy
