I hooked up the avalon controler to my old network and I now don't know what the old network was.  How can I find out the IP address of the controller??  I know how to change the IP address on my laptop to match the controller's IP but I can't figure out what it's IP address is!!  Please help!
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Have you tried scanning your network with program called "Advanced IP Scanner", i think that should help.

I have hooked the controller up to my network but it is set with a static IP address that doesn't match my network.  Isn't this why you have to log into the miner in the first place since they will not show up on networks until their IP is changed to match the network?  If it won't show up on the network how can I see it's IP address from IP scanner?

I thought Advanced IP scanner would work too but I don't see it connected to my network when I plug it in(I don't see it on the router or Advanced IP scanner).

I have one controller that is working with 20 miners.  It was a new controller so I was able to easily hook up to it by matching my laptops IP address to match the controllers range and directly connecting them.  I am trying to do that with another controller I have previously already had set up but I don't know the IP it was previously set to so I can't set my laptop to the matching range of the controller.

How can I find the IP address of a controller I directly hook up to my laptop through an ethernet cord?
