I've been reading about this and it is a very ambitious project. They might have the name recognition to raise the amount they are seeking ... I heard 1.2 billion ICO is their target. It wouldn't surprise me.

For telegram this is a very logical decision. In this messenger there is no advertising, so holding an ICO is probably the only option for telegram to survive.
That's right. Telegram's owner Pavel Durov spend about 70 million dollars every year on his messenger. Thats great idea to instal blockchain wallet in it. In China millions people use his local messenger WeChat. It have electronic wallet (but not blockchain) and money transfers between users (p2p and p2b) some times even more than in PayPal sistem. |

What makes this telegram an amazing one, what are the basis about this project because I heard some good feedback about it.
Yeah I am very bullish on the telegram ICO, I think they can build an amazing platform. And they already have a telegram group for 89% of ICOs... The point is that they ALREADY have an amazing platform, and endless money, so it is not clear to me which is the purpose of a mega-ICO. Even more money? |

Im not sure about ICO stage. All money will be collected in private sale I guess. So dont participate in any "TON" tokensale right now. At least before the announcement on official Telegram site.
