Yes, really. You've actually been making fun of a straw man this whole time. We're not laughing with you, we're laughing at you. I'm sorry if it took you so long to figure that out.
No, I am definitely making fun of bitcoiners. Between the conspiracy theorists (which this forum is rife with), the drug and child pornography peddling bitcoin enthusiasts all over the darknet, the delusional true believers who think bitcoin is going to take over the world, the doomsday peppers that believe the world is on the verge of financial/political/social collapse (but believe bitcoin will somehow save them), and the wannabe Gordan Gekkos that think they are "the new wealthy elite", there is plenty to make fun of. You can pretend that none of these groups exist, or that they don't make up a large segment of the bitcoin user population, but you are only fooling yourself. Your community is poisonous, and that is one reason of many that no one takes you people seriously. I'm sorry if you aren't smart enough to pick up on that, but that is exactly the type of ignorance I am here to point out. So go ahead and laugh, the rest of the world is laughing at you.

No, you really aren't. Judging from your posting, I'd actually be surprised if you could remember to breath without someone reminding you.

How many of them ever did? I don't recall there ever being that many.
Then you don't actually read this or any other major bitcoin forum (ie: r/bitcoin) because they are absolutely full of people who blatantly discuss circumventing the law through bitcoins.

I use have my time and money invested in bitcoin legally. Some parts of reddit are as bad as 4chan in terms of content quality. There are plenty of people out there who have embraced an idea and made money without doing anything illegal.

Good, if you don't try to circumvent the law, and pay all due taxes on profits made through bitcoin, then I have no issue with you personally. However, understand that you are in the minority in this community.

Who even cares if someone doesn't pay taxes on their bitcoin? The government doesn't care when apple or GE doesn't pay their taxes so why should I have to. The government rarely does anything about rich people having overseas bank account and avoiding taxes. Not only that they give the rich cheaper taxes via capital gains. Our government could get rid of the income tax if it really wanted to. Just stop trillions of war spending. So no I will not pay my taxes. This country was founded on people just like me not on people like you who happily bend over for their government Good, if you don't try to circumvent the law, and pay all due taxes on profits made through bitcoin, then I have no issue with you personally. GE and Apple operate inside the law and use legal tax write-offs and legal loopholes. They pay all of the taxes they are legally required to pay. If a person is caught not paying all of their due taxes, they go to jail rich or not. Even fame doesn't preclude you from this...just ask Wesley Snipes. You are not special. Pay your taxes like everyone else. If you aren't intelligent enough to find write offs and legal loopholes, that's your fault...don't get mad at corporations and rich people because they are smarter than you.

Not if you brought your Bitcoins at 1 cent each they're not. Yes. Yes they are. Some idiots make money on MLM scams too, but it doesn't make them any less stupid, and it certainly doesn't stop people from laughing at them either.

No, that's just what you people tell yourselves to lessen the blow of being laughingstocks.

No, that's just what you people tell yourselves to lessen the blow of being laughingstocks. You are really a very angry and unhappy person. Well, it's easy to act superior to a bunch of people posting anonymously on the Internet isn't it? GE and Apple operate inside the law and use legal tax write-offs and legal loopholes. The House banking scandal ultimately involved more than 450 representatives, most of whom did not break any laws. Twenty-two congressmen and -women were singled out by the House Ethics Committee for leaving their checking accounts overdrawn for at least eight months out of a sample of 39 months.[2] Wow. None of that has anything to do with corporations and rich people paying their taxes. Good job on not following the conversation, though. You are really a very angry and unhappy person.
Am I? Personally, I think your just upset at hearing the truth. Keep projecting, though.

I think it does, since Congressmen are on the average, millionaires.
It's very easy to show that if you are politically connected and rich, you get treated special. Yes, with respect to taxes.

So it had absolutely nothing to do with the conversation, you are just trying to make some tenuous connection because of your severe brain damage. Got it.

Do you know what Ghandi was referring to in that quote? (I am guessing no) If so, please explain exactly how it relates to bitcoin....I am all ears, sport.

But interpret it as you will. Yours maybe different, neither is right or wrong. Relates to Bitcoin? It doesn't relate to Bitcoin. It's a retort. (But as I say, interpret it as you will.) Anyway getting back on track; when does stage 3 start? (No changing the conversation this time, and avoiding the question.) LOL It's getting late here now in UK, I'm off now to count my Bitcoins, then to sleep.

Never. Like you said yourself, the quote doesn't apply to bitcoin. Using an out of context quote that you don't understand as a retort makes you look like an ass.
