I have been keeping an eye on the pricing of all new SHA-256 miners that is being released and their associated pricing. I compared all of them in table format based on the information that is available today (22 Dec). How will you guide your buying decision for your next miner?

The M3 shouldnt even be on that list. Anyone buying that garbage is going to lose out in the long run.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

I beg to differ.

M3 is much cheaper than S9, and yet fail-rate lower in comparison.

Hash-rate is better than Avalon A741, but drawbacks is the noise and power consumption.

No comment on Ebang.

ps. why you hate M3 so much? just curious..

Its not hate. While it does have impressive efficiency considering its a 28nm process, it is still not comparable to current generation miners and its effective lifespan will be much shorter. It is just not a smart buy if you are doing this for a living.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

I like your idea, you should maintain that list somewhere and add watts per TH/s

After Bitmain has increased the prices for Antminer S9, I would suggest you to wait for a while, some new miners from Avalon and HalongMining are coming this spring.

Avalon is a proven company.  HalongMining is becoming more and more obviously a SCAM.

I don't believe in superstition because it's bad luck: 13thF1oor6CAwyzyxXPNnRvu3nhhYeqZdc
These aren't the Droids you're looking for: S5 & S7 (Sold), R4B2, R4B4 (RIP), 2x S9 obsolete, 2xS15-28, S17-56, S17-70
Pushing a whopping 1/5 PH!  Oh The SPEED!!!

I am constantly looking for other companies, but there are few of them to really keep on the list. Help me keep this list fresh as you find out of other profiiders and pricing. I agree, in Q1 and Q2 we will see new models come out and I hope we will see some price competitive offers.
