There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Anyone else have a real paid subscription to Bitcoinmagazine? Unfortunately I have filled a case against Bitcoinmagazine. I subscribed and paid in full via PayPal but are still waiting on my issue. It is nearly a month now. Two weeks ago I have got one email from Elizabeth Ploshay from Bitcoinmagazine (help@bitcoinmagazine.com) She claimed that the magazine would be sent to me soon. After that I have nothing heard from Bitcoinmagazine anymore. Also wrote a couple of emails to help@bitcoinmagazine.com for any information. I still just can not believe Bitcoinmagazine is a scam. Very weird.

If there is anyone with similar experience please share.

Thanks
vqp

Bought a personal membership.

When I checked out (using btc of course) I noticed that I'm #19.

Also the payment option says "bitcoins"  I'd rather use "Bitcoin" or "BTC"

Well, glad I choose PayPal, because that gives me the opportunity to claim my funds back after the order date.. Again, very strange that such thing happens. It looked a very real magazine to me at first. Good luck.
