And why exactly bitcoin will be so valuable? I love bitcoin but even the price reaching 100k in a few years is a lot of money, why you think bitcoin could be worth one million or even 10 million, almost all the money of the world will need to move through bitcoin for that to happen.

With the current flow of bitcoin in the market and its management on dealing with the adding of technology to make bitcoin more scalable and compete with its sudden growth in user, i dont think it will surpass 20k not unless they made drastic measure to the problem.

it is not just about the fees. you are thinking too small here regarding Lightning network.

the main thing that LN will bring us is nearly limitless number of transactions per second. for years people have been comparing bitcoin other payment processors like Visa and saying bitcoin is handling 3-7 TPS and they are handling ... TPS.
now with LN bitcoin will be able to handle millions of transactions per second. or even more and all of them will be instant, decentralized and trustless.

Who knows what can really happen years from now? I think we can only speculate here and hope that our speculation will come true one day. Most of the Bitcoin holders are always hopeful that soon the value of Bitcoin will really be enormous because of the limited supply and supposedly continuing demand for it. Right now, there is a certain feeling of gloom and doom within the Bitcoin community because of the continuing problems being encountered by transactions and the very ridiculous fees imposed by miners and exchanges. Once we can solve these problems, there is a big likelihood that Bitcoin will again surge. The year 2017 saw Bitcoin being romanticized and scrutinized and for this year I am seeing some stability for Bitcoin.

The Lightning Network won't be in full operation.

Consider that people have been talking about Segwit for three years, the miners activated it five months ago - but the Core developers have been too lazy to activate it on the bitcoin qt wallet. So nobody uses it to send coins from their wallets to the exchanges.

What makes you think they'll be more efficient when it comes to Lightning?

Yeah, that's a bitcoin price prediction. there are tons of bitcoin price prediction out there. Everybody is a bitcoin prophet nowadays, everybody can predict the bitcoin price that he desires with date and some even time No jokes, without the bitcoin current transaction issues the value can be very vibrant all the time, but due to such issues many are moving to other altcoins looking for solution.

It's possible if bitcoin improves itself to solve its current problem (but lightning network is on its way).
If more and more people believe in bitcoin and use it, its value will go up, and at the same time dollar value will go down faster than now (inflation), thus bitcoin price will reach 100k$.

That is the way bitcoin works, it can pump on so much or dip so much you can gain profit and lose it at the same time that is why there are certain risk involve in investing with it because of the volatility and fluctuation involve with certain movement of bitcoin, And I think that bitcoin's value this year will be prosperous and that is the normal way bitcoin move, If it reach a certain level when it drop it will gain momentum to com back again and reach that certain point or even exceeds it.
