neither of these seem to be working properly, many days many thousands of shares (that seem to many times just get wiped from being recorded...haven't payout in ages

With the hash level at those pools, useless for low hash miners, wont even get a share in (at 20kh/s), I think its stupid big hash miners using pools (with such low dif and high payout), defeats the whole purpose of pools when they can easily solo.

With the hash level at those pools, useless for low hash miners, wont even get a share in (at 20kh/s), I think its stupid big hash miners using pools (with such low dif and high payout), defeats the whole purpose of pools when they can easily solo. gld.cryptocoinmine.com was a PPS pool which gives out a straight rate (block reward/difficulty) per hash regardless of the pool/miner hash rate. Unfortunately I had to change it back to proportional after taking huge losses mostly due to the size of the Goldcoin network. Once the Goldcoin network gets larger, I will open a new PPS Goldcoin pool and keep the current Proportional pool running.
