Is it possible to install windows 10 onto a 32gb usb flash drive.
Not for installation of windows onto a hard drive but to actually use the 32gb flash drive as the hard drive for the computer and have windows 10 installed on the flash drive. If so how? Everything I see on google and youtube is for making the flash drive bootable to install windows 10 from the flash drive onto a hard drive
. When you put windows 10 on the flash drive via microsoft media creation tool, or rufus it will not let you install windows 10 to a flash drive. I even formatted the flash drive to NTFS file system. Also pluged it into the usb 2.0 port instead of the 3.0 port. using pny 32gb usb 3.0 flash drive.
Saw vosk coin on youtube say he uses 32gb usb 3.0 flash drives for all of his mining rigs. I can't find anything to get windows 10 installed onto the usb flash drive. Idk if this is the wrong section for this post. hopefully someone can help. Also if I can use another os on 32gb flash drive that'll also help. mainly mining what ever coin is most profitable for the day.
system: msi z270-a pro, cpu g3900, 4gb ddr4 2400 g.skill ram, 1200w photon psu, and hopefully pny 32gb usb 3.0 flash drive for hdd.
