Thanks for posting about this, I have been considering using kickstartr to fund my project, but wished they accepted bitcoin.

I have one question- Do you know when this website went online?

I see there are lot of projects in the "closed projects" section, but only 3 in the "funded" page. I'm unsure of how successful projects will be on here compared to on there compared to the elephant in the room crowdfunding site until there's the Doublefine equivalent project funded successfully there.

You can do both if you so desire. I've seen it where there is the fiat KickStarter project then the person comes back around and does the BitcoinStarter for it.

I have one question- Do you know when this website went online?

April 1st of this year.

I see there are lot of projects in the "closed projects" section, but only 3 in the "funded" page. I'm unsure of how successful projects will be on here compared to on there compared to the elephant in the room crowdfunding site until there's the Doublefine equivalent project funded successfully there.

Will 2-3 still on the way to being funded so in total 5-6 projects successfully funded.  In 4 months not to shabby but you are right it will take some major project to come onto the platform to really put it on the map.

Thanks! I do agree, that many projects funded (in addition to the ones nearly funded) in the first few months is great. I will definitely look into it.
I have seen some KS projects move to indiegogo and vice versa, in addition to accepting paypal pledges after they've been funded. The bitcoinstarter + kickstarter option is a good idea here too. I was mainly interested in supporting our new electronic currency and using bitcoinstarter seemed like the best avenue for that (in addition to hosting another non-paper-currency payment method on my site).

Welcome!  Right, there seems to be some cross-over so wouldn't surprise me if Bitcoin is made an option also.  I'm all about supporting new electronic currency!
