what coin you are asking, if bitcoin currently has a decrease, and I think it will still go down until the end of this year. if the ethereum currently has good potential, I am sure ethereum will continue to rise until the end of this year.

Don't be afraid to buy your favorite altcoin. The price is about the same as it was half a month ago, so it's already a low price.

I think there will be another dump before the year runs out, maybe before the next weekend, the recent drop to me is as a result of people talking out profit and as we all know this timeof the year we tend to spend more than normal

I think he/she point the bitcoin. Maybe bitcoin will repeat the downtrend.  So much better to prepare your funds to buy the second dip.  
Thats only my prediction.  Make your own research before you jump. And also ethereum is a gpod choice.

It has happened before so why couldn't it happen now? I could see bitcoin going into a downward trend, but I would also not be surprised if bitcoin soars again or goes flat.

I still believe the prices of cryptos are unreal at current context. With a lot of population without coverage and coins still getting higher on transaction fees, than regular payment gateways, crypto should rise but not this way.
