Yes it is up now but your best bet is to get a cryptocurrency hardware wallet especially for these ethereum smart contract based decentralized exchanges.I traded on it when it was back online but it was quite slower than usual.They intend to increase phishing attempts on their site so that it willbe easier to identify such an attack should it occur again.

You know that this exchange has been recently hacked, and it doesnt make me feel confortable at all.

You all know that if a site is hacked one time, it can be hacked twice, it has been happening since the beggining of everything in everything that concerns about cryptos and exchanges, specially.

If you are going to use it, just put a little amount of money in there, dont risk too much.

It's safe right now but you must try to do a flush dns to your computer. But a lot of people are using it right now, since the decentralized exchange and it's just another minor attack from the scammer. We should not need feel worry about that, im using it right now.

Is etherdelta safe again to use now?

Yes they are already up since December 22. Which i would say they are safe to use as of now and as being said by other member on there regarding on the hack it is involved on dns which it do really redirects users into other site. As they made an announcement it would really be a helpful thing specially on newbie users and heres what they wrote on updates:

*IMPORTANT* We are also gonna make a series of educational effort and UI/UX changes to make sure users know how to identify phishing attempts in the coming weeks.

They are more aware as of now and im glad they would make ui/ux changes.

Etherdelta is safe I just tried to trade in this exchange and it went well. This site is sometimes too often slow and long to respond. But we shoudl be careful in etherdelta just not to lose token because I have heard some are lost their token.

I have never have any problems with etherdelta so I see this site as a trusted decentralized tokens trading platforms. If you did not know how to used etherdelta you should try and watch some of there youtube explanations and you will be good to go.  But because many did not understand how this site works they always accuse etherdelta as a scam site. What you should know is that you are responsible to what happened to your fund on etherdelta and you should understand how this site works before transferring your coins or tokens there for trading.

We extracted what tokens we had yesterday on ED and I do not think for the near future we will be using it right now. We may start again using it after the new year and I will make a completely new wallet for it and not put the old wallets we had so I only then will trade, buy or sell one coin at a time and immediately remove it from there unless I place it there to sell but for now am staying away from it.

Dont use etherdelta guys , they have been "hacked" or whatever happened to them, it can happen again if they allow it. Just be aware of this exchange, it is weird as fuck, i will never put a single dollar in there.

Have checked the site, and yes it is back and safe to use again. You should just make sure you typed the correct URL and make sure, if you are trading, be sure to deposit and withdraw the correct amount to etherdelta.

I think its not that EtherDelta is hacked, but the hackers have found a way to redirect everything to a phish site that sometimes we took at as hack. But if you have to be on the safe side though, you can move all your tokens out on Etherdelta and put on your own wallet for safekeeping. As of now, there's no better alternative than EtherDelta, unless you go to a trading platform that list all your tokens. But they themselves are not safe as well.

apparentely it's working right, i've traded yesterday and the final eth withdrawal went smooth.
But i don't feel no more confortable using it, i traded on it just because i use metamask so my fund should be safe at all
