Why do all these altcoin have the same curve as bitcoin ??

Hello,

I'm new to crypto currency and before investing, I'm observing and trying to understand.

I was thinking most of these money are independent from each others. But looking at their curves from the last few days, they are pretty close. All going up and down at the same time.

I looked at :
- bitcoin
- ethereum
- litecoin
- ripple
- monero
- stellar

If you compare the last 24h, each on their scales, they have very similar curves.

Any reason why ?

I'm looking on cryptocompare.
