THis is all Extremely Dodgy.

No evidence whatsoever of CEO and Co FOunder Nathan. Where is an interview with them. Anything live.

They only things there are is couple Lithuanian Guys,
Mazvydas, Marius and Karolis on the chat of telegram, as Customer support.

Roadmap mentions "opening development offices", but there are no developers. There is no CTO. which is great, as you are going to build tech.
They just raised the price 19th from 1$ per token to 0,0014 ETH. around 1,50

Also, if you scroll up to the post of "anna" the CEO, and check that users previous posts here. It doesnt make sense. Probably bought ID.

Thank you for this topic.
For me the first stop factor was a team. After some more research this project looks like scam unfortunately (because I really like the idea).

You're right to do your research and ask questions. Trust your gut. If it seems like a scam, good chance it is. Don't risk your hard earned money on shady ICOs. Too many great projects out there. If you're itching to put your money to work, you're better off putting it into post-ICO project with a proven track record like ETH, NEO, ADA, etc. Remember: bulls make money, bears make money, pigs get slaughtered. Don't be greedy!

All all,

I was going to invest in the ICO but after doing some research I found some very dodgy looking stuff.

Here is their website: https://www.tokia.io/

They say they are a UK company and have a UK office at 6 Thornes Office Park, but this is just a mailing address https://www.mailboxuk.com/.

The website states Nathan Tafer is the founding partner but he is not even a director or shareholder on Companies House and the company was just setup 2-3 weeks ago; please see here https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/11093662

The director or any of the team are not even based in the UK so why set a company here? The director is Anna Lunhu who seems to have no experience in this field and is registered in a apartment in Monaco.

This all points towards a scam and when asking these questions on their telegram I got banned.

So make your own mind up but this looks a scam to me.

I have decided not to invest. Something just seems off with this ICO. Good luck to those that invest. I hope I am wrong and everything is OK.

Yeah after reading the back and forth I'm still weirder out by this ICOs behavior. Even if I discount the comments of newbs and read the ICO's response I am still going to wait this one out.

Not sure if this ICO is legit or not.  However, while this may not be significant, I find it odd that the CEO is a beauty care specialist prior to Tokia.  Not the typical CEO of a technology company.   I was considering investing but there is too many red flags at this point so I will pass.  If it is in fact legit, I wish them the best of luck and success!

No need to question this further. It is 100% a scam and so sad they already have taken so many people's money and now I see their ads roll across the screen constantly which only means more suckers looking to get rich quick will surely dump their btc to these frauds.

How do I know it is a scam?

Easy. Click on the profile for Ms. Anna https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1353653;sa=showPosts

Look at her past posts. The account has been purchased as the previous posts before the response in this thread have nothing to do with this coin and certainly not the posts you would expect to see 15 days prior to being Founding partner, CEO at Tokia Ltd. Her linkedin profile found here https://www.linkedin.com/in/anna-lunhu-15841618/ is a total mess.

Also, if you read the reply she wrote in this post, it is written in almost perfect English. Now watch Anna speak here, or should I see read. This girl has no clue at all...  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlB2TaIEYHs

You really think this is the CEO of Tokia?

Here is an image showing a totally different person altogether.

I have plenty more research on other members of their "team."  Message me if you would like it.

If I were you, I'd run and run far.

Stay safe all... don't give your coins to thieves!

I don't agree that this a scam.

Setting up in London as a scam. London? The financial capital of the world? Lets choose that as our scam location? The UK has more extradition arrangements that another nation.

Yea if it doesn't feel right then leave it. You can always keep an eye on the project and buy tokens after ico, if they start to deliver and things look ok post ico.

I'm worry. I bought some tokias a few months ago. The ICO ended a week ago, but I do not have much confidence in this crypotocurrency.

The good new is that I have not bought a lot of coins, but I would like not to lose my money.

Does anyone have news about the future of this currency? Do you still believe that it is a scam?

Thank you!

I can see they have already ICO sold out and have planned roadmap to be listed on some major exchanges, their wallet is ready for major cryptos storage and they have their payment processing set up already. Still you can do your due dilligence by following on their site .
