Centra is changing the world with its crypto debit card and insured wallet!! Now your neighbor / coworker / family member can easily use crypto! Use your Bitcoin, Ethereum, ERC20 Tokens, Litecoin, Ripple, Dash, Zcash, & Monero at any grocery, brick and mortar, or online! Qtum and Bitcoin Cash will be added in January!! Purchasing coffee with ripple! How it works: You have a Centra wallet connected to the debit card. You select which token you want to use and when you use the card, your crypto gets converted to fiat at the time of purchase. So the receiving end gets fiat. Usable anywhere that MasterCard is accepted. Currently ships world wide!!

By far offers more than any other crypto card, and Centra's own exchange, blockchain, market place is yet to come!!

I have heard of this Centra card and that they were in development. So now they have released their wallet / card solution to the general public. I love the idea of getting access to my crypto assets and being able to spend them in day to day activities. I will be putting this on my TO DO list straight after Christmas.

Guys, cryptocurrency is intended for buying items or services payments and that's the way coins should be but in Bitcoin's case it cannot be done easily because of the massively heavy traffic of transactions congestion is affecting the network so it's a matter of speed the most advantage of every coin. If Ripple can transact a very fast transaction like in just a minute then it would be fine because market institutions should be able to accept cryptocurrency payments these days supposed to be.

That's a good one. If a Cryptocurrency can manage to accommodate the transaction speed then many business institutions will accept cryptocurrency as payment for products and services like Centra Card that will be available for public use. If Ripple can offer more then that would be great and so as other coins also.

So this time still we're using fiat instead of Cryptocurrency as payment for products and services? I thought cryptocurrency will soon replace fiat and step by step some business institutions and markets will accept cryptocurrency coins as one of the payment mode. The idea is fine but the problem is in the Centra or Cryptocurrency company that converts them all into fiat so users can use their debit cards. The volatility of the crypto coin is high so whether the user will loose or the coins company.

That's really cool, because most of the crypto debit card I know won't convert the crypto to fiat at the point of purchase, they will convert it at the moment you want to load your card(you preload it with crypto converted to fiat).
Also, ripple has lower fees, compared to bitcoin's high fees. I think that as people won't pay high fees for such small transactions such coffee, buying it with an alternate coin could be a good solution.

It's very nice to see that establishments are slowly accepting crypto payments. However, I agree that it will take a long time before we will no longer need to base prices off of Fiat currency.

$12 for a coffee? That is so much for just a coffee, starbucks really had ripp this generation when its less than a $1 during my time. But congrats to Centra I suppose this is one of the marketing strategy for Centra. We may be seeing its price rise later, I hope its not too late the last time ai saw it, the price was less than $2.

Yes any place that accepts MasterCard, you can use the Centra card to pay your bill. Good thing is Centra card and wallet allows you to choose the crypto you want to pay with. 8 Supported crypto currently with Qtum and Bitcoin Cash coming in January. You can also vote your own favorite crypto to be supported by Centra so you can use it at any store or online!

Why? Cause we are crypto people and are trying to bring awareness to the non crypto users!! Also cashing out requires you to send your tokens to specific exchanges to cash out and this cost fees and wait time depending on network congestion.

its a good news for us who already got involve in crypto, by using a credit card to use crypto to be converted in fiat in an instant is very useful to use everyday, but i think it is only be use for few country that has totally know/accepting crypto currency as a mode of payment, i wish that this kind of credit card may implement too in my country for more convenient to me to use my coins anytime anywhere.

The end goal is definitely P2P payments all over crypto, but we just aren't there yet. So crypto cards is a short term bridge. Use a crypto card when you don't care about your transactions. And then send anonymously with normal crypto methods when you prefer to. Also think about bringing crytpo awareness. Some of your family members, coworkers, classmates will never understand crypto or don't know how to use a computer. Now just imagine if you got your grandma a crypto card, loaded it with $100 in crytpo. Now she can go spend it. And she would tell all her other grandma friends that shes using crypto now. Then your whole neighborhood is interested and the market cap grows from awareness.
