Only an hour and a bit of mining and the balance on the webminer page is building up nicely already.
Looks like it may be a good option for cpu mining for next month or so for me.  Cheesy

port 4444 is which p2p daemon is listening, not a pool port Smiley only  pool port 3333 is open and only reachable by our proxy.

you can check it here: http://pool.crepcoin.org:8117/stats Wink

and... what are you doing scanning our ports? trying to mine directly?

good attemp to discredit, but uneffective...

I am sceptical. Why do you need port 3333? To mine with your own gpus directly?

lol! port 3333 is open for webminer hahaha. how do you think webminer works? magic without connect to a pool port?

GPUs? what are you talking about, guy? are you seeing hashrate? around 7kh/s with 80 miners... when do you see the superhashrate of gpu's?

OMG! no more internet for today...  Grin

omg! you are a incredible donk! port 8117 is default port for the API pool. check the documentation: https://github.com/zone117x/node-cryptonote-pool

Quote
/* AJAX API used for front-end website. */
"api": {
    "enabled": true,
    "hashrateWindow": 600, //how many second worth of shares used to estimate hash rate
    "updateInterval": 3, //gather stats and broadcast every this many seconds
   "port": 8117,
    "blocks": 30, //amount of blocks to send at a time
    "payments": 30, //amount of payments to send at a time
    "password": "test" //password required for admin stats
},

if you are no idea what you are talking about, please, don't say nothing...

Nice language you are using for a so called "dev". Your coin is pure bullshit and you even named it after .. crap?

As for an explanation, everybody could use port 3333 to mine with gpu until you realised it was an open port. Wow.. now hash dropped from 11 kh to 6,5.. you fucktard

I'm a developer, not your mother. If you come to my thread for say things like I'm a liar or the coin is crap, what do you expect? The problem is that I ignored your first comment, and you need to troll... Smiley

port 3333 is closed to external access. only can be reached by our coinhive proxy server, and webminer reaches the pool via proxy Wink nobody can't mine directly to this port, only our webminer. You can try it yourself.

port 8117 is AJAX API, and webminer interacts with it for get user balances and pool status.

All of this no needs any explanation for anyone familiarized with coinhive script and cryptonote pools, and anyone can check it easily from webminer source code. But obviously, it's not your case. The discussion end here.

Best regards

Not nice at all
Just see that you disrespectful dev earlier first

In OP clearly stays that this coin can be only mined with CPU and via browser so why you still with GPU here?
Take it or leave it if you dont like it

why not make a modification of the mine algorithm, to be exclusively extracted with cpu?

Make this kind of modification of the algorithm breaks the compatibility with the actual cryptonight miners. Sad

We are not interested on ban GPU's, but we wanted to have one month at least for mine only with CPU for give possibilities to all.

Your CREP will show up very soon just keep patient Smiley

I like the name CREP it reminds me of CREeP a fully anonymous coin to transfer value.

Do devs need any help with anything?

sorry for that Sad some antivirus software blocks the webminer (kaspersky in my windows computer too) because lot of webs using coinhive script (the same that we are using) to mine monero while user is browsing without the user approval... but it's not the case, you can deactivate AV for our site (if you want!)

First time ever I managed to mine a coin. The first time is always fun. So thank you, dev.
However, if a coin is so easy to mine, would it not make it worthless?
