Looking for about $30ish (maybe a bit more) in Amazon gift cards.  Any newbies on here trying to get some BTC to get started?

(nb. if you're really new around here, I may require you to send first--escrow doesn't really make sense for $20-30 worth of stuff, but you can see on my post history and through my trust that I've been trading on here with no issues and I'm not going to risk an account with 100+ activities and 300+ posts for $20).

What do you mean no trade?  Look at my history and my posts!  4 group buys, and odds and ends here and there.  If you really want escrow, and that's going to make or break the deal, you can pay for it, but I can't imagine anyone wanting to over what will probably be a few $5 and $10 GC's.

I actually just bought an Amazon GC here earlier today (see post history/trade history).  Once again, I'm not going to scam you over $10 with a history of over 300 posts on here!  I just don't think escrow is going to be worth it to anyone!

accounts are being sold all the time here. there no excuse by not using escrow, IIRC the fee on bitmit is around 1.5%

I've never used bitmit before, but I thought most escrow services have a minimum charge.  I can't believe that anyone would want to pay the $1 min charge for a 5 or 10$ GC (which is apparently the denomination people trade in nowadays) but if they want to then by all means go ahead!

And I can send a signed message proving that I still own this account if anyone wants.  There are plenty of ways to ensure security, only one of which is using escrow.  For smaller transactions I've down things such as video chat with people, given them my personal cell to call me and chat first, etc.  Once again, look at my history.  I bought a $10 GC earlier today on this forum and instead of using escrow, I just asked him to do the payment of the deal publicly so there would be a record of it.  I doubt anyone was going to risk their reputation over $10 when they have already built up rep.  I will do the same for anyone who has already built up rep (I will go first) but my message was directed at newbies who have no rep as of yet.

I think I see the issue here.  I'm not looking to sell GC's!!!  I'm looking to buy them as well!!!  Sorry if that wasn't clear!
