Another method I don't think has been mentioned here...check out content websites like hubpages. I don't know how good they are right now, but I've made 500 bucks over about 3 years just from a dozen articles. If I wasn't lazy and did this religiously I'd probably be making like 50+ a month easy as side income.

Just use common sense to know what is legal. Make a site, mine coins, do anything you like doing, that way it won't feel like a job.
But illegal businesses are so much more profitable...

If you have the time available then posting with a PrimeDice signature. Not sure if you would be able to post enough in your spare time to hit $200, that's about 1100 posts per month at current prices and rates.

I think 1100 per month sounds quite rough, compared to what you'd earn from just having a part time job. I know he said "Online" but you need to be damn dedicated to reach that constructivepost count

What do you define as a 'decent amount'? Do your dayjob or school, come home and post. You could easily do 30-odd posts in an evening which would get you your 1000+ posts.

I know he said "Online" but you need to be damn dedicated to reach that constructivepost count Constructive posts are easy! They can be one-liners or many paragraphs provided that they relate to the topic or context of the recent posts. 1100 posts is easy going if you browse the forum consistently each day - even easier if you get into interesting conversations or debates with people. The reason why I suggested doing PrimeDice (or the like) is that: a) it requires no application process or requirement for ID b) the user is a member of the forum and community therefore familiar with some of the topics that will be discussed Sure, on of the drawbacks is the faff in converting your BTC to cash, and that the value could vary dramatically but it's pretty good shout for an online job that pays that sort of figure.

Any meaningful retort to that?

Hm, perhaps you're right, but it does take commitment nonetheless.. As do most ways of earning money. Very rarely do you get free money without putting in a bit of work. Sure, on of the drawbacks is the faff in converting your BTC to cash, and that the value could vary dramatically but it's pretty good shout for an online job that pays that sort of figure.

Yeah looking at sighti's latest posts it is ridiculous to think that someone believes that they might get away with it. Having said that, unless somebody reports them or an admin sees I guess that they will get away with it.

My parents have just let me know that they wont be paying for my rent next semester at school so I will need to make up the money. I will be getting a job but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas where I could make up the other 150-200 a month I need to pay for rent and food. I would prefer no bullshit survey websites that pay 10 cents for an hour survey, but I guess all ideas are appreciated. It needs to be something I can do in my freetime since I will be balancing school and a job. Thanks in advance!
Maybe. Maybe not.
