Goodmorning everyone,

Yesterday I purchased litecoins and I accidentely sent it to my electrum bitcoin wallet instead of my electrum litecoin wallet. Is there any possibility to get it in the right wallet afterwards?

Thank you so much in advance.

Nope. You are pretty much SOL.

Buy a Trezor and Protect your BTC, BCH, BTG, DASH, LTC, DGB, ZEC, ETH and ETC from hackers.
If I was helpful please buy me a coffee BTC: 1DWK7vBaxcTC5Wd2nQwLGEoy8xdFVzGKLK  BTG: AWvN1iBqCUqG2tEh3XoVvRbdcGrAzfBBpW

Are you sure that the transaction went through? any reputable exchange would clearly check for the address before sending anything.

reputable or not if you use a bitcoin P2PKH (starting with 1) instead of litecoin's (starting with L) it will be rejected by the network.
and if you use a bitcoin P2SH (starting with 3) instead of litecoin's (starting with 3) there is nothing to check and/or reject. both addresses are similar base58endocing with the same starting character which is 3 and i think the new ones are capital M!

to recover the funds, i have never done it but i assume using the seed and private keys that were used to create the bitcoin wallet should work.

Nope. You are pretty much SOL.
That is completely false...

All the OP needs to do is follow one of the many tutorials or videos... like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umsIy1ks8vg

It is for an Electrum 2FA wallet, but will work the same for a normal Electrum MultiSig (ie. "3" type address) wallet as long as you have access to the private keys, you will be able to recover your LTC.
