I just installed Linux Mint 14, which is based on ubuntu12 (I think).
Anyway, I installed the AMD sdk2.6.
ran amdinfo, says it sees a 7900 series card (mine is a 7950)
Downloaded cgminer 3.3.1 and tried to run it, but it says segmentation fault....not really sure what that is.
When I try to run cgminerno-gpu, it seems to start up fine, asks me to enter the url for the mining pool server etc.
read up on segmentation fault being some kind of pointer error, but, i have no idea how to fix it.
Do I need to install the actual AMD drivers for my card? Could that be it?
Thanks in advance. I'm a Linux nOOb.
