I dont think so since ive been seeing a bear trap on the chart. It doesnt really signifies a double bottom if we are pertaining on technical analysis which i would say price might still go on $10k price or even more lower possibly on worst case on going back on 8k usd which i would treat it as a good point on buying more cheaper coins. |

I don't think we'll see such drastic changes so soon. I think it'll take Bitcoin a while to get over this hump. Ripple came up practically out of nowhere, and if people see ripple as the truly better investment, they'll take their chances on it instead of putting their money into the heavily volatile BTC. My prediction is Bitcoin to 15-17k. We'll have a lot of bumps to get over in order to get there, but I think the lightning transaction news heavily impacts the price in a good way. Instant transactions and no fees would bring Bitcoin back to life. |

How do you calculate this? Why do you think support point is $10.800? I'm in doubt about it too, but I don't understand why BTC would drop to a 'low price' like that as we are already on $13.000-$14.000 for some time and nothing worse happenened. |

You can actually make a technical analysis of anything that would result to it going up or down, so why should you believe anything? |

As you can see now Bitcoin is hitting $15.000 again... The pessimistics and optimistics always push their analysis to their own convictions and feelings and we never know exactly which of them are right. Anyway, I just thought curious why they were saying BTC could reach $10.000 soon.  |

There is no way that any technical analysis can get bitcoin's prediction. This is simply because bitcoin has no backing. I wish there was some way to let those who are getting into bitcoin know about this. The only news that could change the bitcoin prices would be negative news or some adoption of blockchain technologies/accepting of bitcoin as a currency on some larger sites. Technically this doesn't even change the price, it just encourages people to keep investing in bitcoin because it's promising. |

It's all depends on the rally.
The whole bitcoin market is based on rumors and hypes, it's really hard to be a succesful trader if all you do is to rely on technical exploring.
Bitcoin is very different from the stock market, it's a market where manipulations are legal, unlike the stock market, it is fully based on manipulation and that's why it is so hard to be predicted.

Bitcoin returned from bottom support point and stays on 17-18,200$ support. TA doesn't mean everything of course like it happens to USD and EU also. Any news about Trump- North Korea will decrease USD price and changes all TA analysis .It is also same about any decisions by Merkel, France - or UK can changes or screws up all TA analysis. If it would be easy to predict all money or coins with TA, than every single person in the world would be rich But it is still important to know which points are the technical support or which price is buy / sell price depends on current rally, news, regulations. For example; I had a coin called SNGLR, bought at 13000 sat.. It's sell price was at 24500 sat.. I made a sell order at 24000. After reaching 24200 in 4 days, it dropped very quickly to the 16-18000sat support point. Now, it is trying to climb again. |
