Definitely yes, If i have a lot of bitcoins, i probably donate some of it in the charity. Buying some clothes, foods or anything that they need. As some point of our lives we try hard in gaining bitcoins but for them they are nothing. We are lucky that we have this and for them the only thing we could do is to help them. Donating is a huge help for them I encourage everyone who has a kind heart to donate.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I am poor and needy. Will you donate me 0.01 bitcoin. This post will be ignored.

It is easy to talk about donating but everyone want's to keep thing's for them self's.

I am a newbie here and still working for my first full bitcoin anyone can donate just pm me by the way when it comes to donating, bitcoin is a great tool because many people prefer to be anonymous I hope to see one-day big charity institutions use Bitcoin in the future.

The point is to keep a bitcoin separately for donation to the poor. Donating a bitcoin directly will make sense if the receiver is aware of the functioning of bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. A poor and / or needy man can be sometimes an educated man or a knowledgeable man who is struggling to meet his ends. Bitcoin can otherwise be encashed and given to the poor.

It is always better to think big. I would rather create a trust or try to invest in healthcare or education of a poor child. All quick helps will not last long. Educating one child by spending a $25000 or more will reap great benefits to the society in comparison with feeding a whole lot of people once with the same money. Though it is not bad to feed but it is better to invest in a system that more than once continually feeds.

Yes I will donate Bitcoin to the poor and needy the way I feel is best useful for them. One percentage of the income can always be set aside for donation. After all, life is short and it is best to help as much as we can.
Donate bitcoin? I don't think thats a good idea. For what? For them to have money? What if, donate things that they needed thr most for example food and clothing. They would be happy if they receive that or what if instead of giving bitcoin teach them how to do it so that they will not be dependent on you. They can stand from their own.

Actually donating something that you don't have is not easy. If a person has a lot of money,  of course they can easily donate some of the money they have but if you are a person who has enough, I don't think you will be able to donate your money. I think not all people didn't donate because of selfishness, but because if they will donate the money they have, then they will be the one to beg for food to another people. If I have a lot of money,  why not.

Donating bitcoin would not be necessary if they don't have the technology to access it. I think it will be best if we donate things that they need for example food, clothes, etc. with the same value of bitcoin we're going to donate. I also think that if we give bitcoin to them as a capital to start their own business it will be much better because the money will have a continuous cycle rather than spending it all at once.

It will be nice doing such a good deed of giving bitcoin to those poor and needy because we all know that Bitcoin's price is already on its highest peak and having some is truly beneficial nowadays. But the assurance that they will be able to use it properly is still a great problem to be face since these types of people need physical money or real money rather than virtual money in terms of cryptocurrency so I bet, I will just withdraw an equivalent value for what I will give in Bitcoin to be turned into fiat so that they will already know how to use it rather than giving them Bitcoin in which they cannot use properly.

That is a good idea by helping those poor and needy person. I can donate to those in need person and the best way to help them also is introduce the opportunity to earn in bitcoin. By having the time to teach them will definitely a big help to those persons.

it depends on our thoughts, if we have enough or lots of bitcoin, so we may have the chance to donate bitcoin to the poor willingly, but that is also our right when we dont want to give bitcoin to any one else, it is our money, our choice. but if i able to earn a lot of bitcoin, i surely will donate some bitcoin to the poor.

Dont generalized Ive seen a lot of people despite of theire socio-economic status , they dont having any hard time when it comes to giving , as a person I am really open in donating some money for the others , and yeas thats true you must keep for yourself but giving some of your earning doesnt hurt.

of course i want but many people who can not afford and do not know what bitcoin is so i just give food and drinks but the result of me playing bitcoin. because if given directly in the form of bitcoin will make them confused because they do not know what bitcoin.

The charity using Bitcoin is a great idea. But I haven’t find yet the way how to do it. Of course many platforms exist which make such transfers possible but I don’t have the time to figure out with it. Somebody will help me?

I will not donate the BTC to the poor, but I donate the BTC to institutions or funds that help people get out of poverty. First of all, I do not think that poor people have personal computers to store BTC safely. Second, I think the poor are short of money, but they lack the technology to make money. He needs to go to  study.
