why not, in my opinion it is a very sublime, we donate to the needy and people can't afford it, it is very helpful to relieve their burden. so there will be many people who will accept the existence of the bitcoin as currency.

I really appreciate once about what you do, so in essence, we must set aside some of our income to be donated to the poor, even if donations are few, but if we sincerely, we will get points from God. I know that the earnings of a pro miner or pro bitcoiner is very large, not wrong if they leave 2% of their income to be donated.

It's a good thing to give donation to the poor and needy. As a social creature,  we should help those who need our help.
However in this case,  I may choose to donate in the form of cash as I am afraid that people might abuse bitcoin. They could use it in a wrong way.

Charities and donations don't work, never did and never will. Sure there will be people that benefitted form it and became succesfull. But the thing is most of the money is not getting used for its cause but gets pocketed by its institution itself. There have been benefit concerts racking up huge amounts, but then you see the entire amount claimed as cost for personel, hiring of equipment, etc. with zero money going to its cause. Here in Holland even taxes got enough of their attitude and made it mandatory that at least 10% of the brought up amount needs to get spend on its cause otherwise a huge fine follows. Now at least 10% goes to its cause, otherwise all they are doing is selling you a good feeling when you donate that you have done your part while in reality someone pockets that.
Next time you want to donate, do this instead go to a homeless shelter and give food, blankets etc or pay for the education of a poor child. This way you'll know your money is getting spend on its cause.

Helping others is a noble job. We can start it from our environment, but give bitcoin directly to them, I think will cause a problem because not everyone knows bitcoin and poor people here rarely have a bank account.

I already have a couple local charities that I support. If they eventually provide a crypto option, then sure.

Of course, I will. But I think poor and needy people need cash more. They need money now and here. I believe all people are responsible for each other. People have to help each other and support each other. We need to know that we are not alone on this huge world. That's why I will help poor and needy with money. Hope lots of people will do the same.

The point is to keep a bitcoin separately for donation to the poor. Donating a bitcoin directly will make sense if the receiver is aware of the functioning of bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. A poor and / or needy man can be sometimes an educated man or a knowledgeable man who is struggling to meet his ends. Bitcoin can otherwise be encashed and given to the poor.

It is always better to think big. I would rather create a trust or try to invest in healthcare or education of a poor child. All quick helps will not last long. Educating one child by spending a $25000 or more will reap great benefits to the society in comparison with feeding a whole lot of people once with the same money. Though it is not bad to feed but it is better to invest in a system that more than once continually feeds.

Yes I will donate Bitcoin to the poor and needy the way I feel is best useful for them. One percentage of the income can always be set aside for donation. After all, life is short and it is best to help as much as we can.
Yes, maybe in the future. Right now I'm still in the process of saving and investing to make my money grow. One of my goal when I got rich is to help other people. It would be very satisfying for me that I was able to help people who are needy. And also, I will teach them how to earn money and how to spend it wisely so that they will be able to help others too, in the future.

There is no problem on donating for those who do not have enough, the poor and the needy, especially if you have extra money to spare. Not all of us are as blessed as we are. We might complain if we ate less than 4 or 5 times a day but there are people who may not eat for days due to the lack of money. But I guess donating Bitcoin is a very much different thing. Not all of us are capable of handling it. Some tried but some failed big time. Those we call poor may not know what bitcoin is or even cryptocurreny so how are they going to use it? Also, it can only be used with the presence of internet and they do not have access on it. It will just go to waste. Instead of donating bitcoin, just donate cash. It will surely help them more as they can use this than digital money.

The idea is noble and can be done. But before helping the poor and needy, I would concentrate on my close relatives first. I have some relatives who are burdened by debt and maybe I will pay for their debts anonymously. Then I'll teach them the world of cryptocurrency. And when i'm sure that they are good on their own, I'll donate to charity.

If we give Bitcoin to the poor, how would they use it? Can they afford to use it to pay for their living expenses? I think using cash to give to the poor instead of using Bitcoin.

When I will have enough to solve my problems I would be happy to donate to solve for the problems of others. First I would start from the people I know and appreciate personally, though.

I will gladly donate in fiat money rather than in bitcoin. Poor people will surely don't know about cryptocurrencies and it might a reason for other people to take advantage on them.
By donating in fiat or in kind they will appreciate it.

i dont think that we need to donate bitcoin for the needy or poor when we can give them what they really need or what they deserve.all of us are seeking for bitcoin and all of a sudden youre going to give this to them?this is not a good idea.better ask or give them what they need than giving them something they dont even know.its a beficial to both donor and receiver.

The purpose is very heartwarming and softens my heart. But instead of donating Bitcoin to the poor, I'd rather give them food, clothing and things that they are needed because not all of the people knows what bitcoin is. So the bitcoin you donate may be wasted if it is given to the hands of those who don't have any idea about it.

If i have more bitcoin i will donate bitcoin for the poor, but the problem is do they know about bitcoin and how to use. Instead i will help first them to understand them about bitcoin. I will teach them and share my knowledge, so that they can understand well. Nothing wrong to donate bitcoin for the poor people, before we donate let us introduce first to them. Because we know bitcoin is a very useful to their needs and it helps to solve financial problem.

Yes, Because Bitcoin is all about money right?, If you have extra money when you earned bitcoin you should give them to the poor, Like for example what if you were in their place you would want money too, I will give to the poor, Because I want to give back to what the world lead me to do

If you really want to help them, then spend the money on their medicines and education. If you give them free money, then it will do more harm than good. They will use it for useless expenses, and in the end they will ruin their own health and reputation.
I wouldn't give or donate to the poor or needy the bitcoin itself I guess. Because they have not internet, or even cellphone they can used to trade, and also even you give them a huge number of bitcoin if they don't know how to used it, it was useless. So instead of giving them bitcoin, I'll convert my bitcoin into fiat and buy them a food, a medicine, and a clothes.
I think, most of the people are human and wen it will come to helping the needy ones, I am certain majority will volunteer to give their money. It is about those feelings and kindness in front of which bitcoin becomes worthless. Yes, kindness is far precious than bitcoin and like you, I would also do my best in decreasing pain of others. I highly appreciate your deep thinking and passion. Salute to you sir!
