Mostly bitcoin wallets not exchange have this feature, I only know electrum desktop wallet, exodus and mycelium for mobile, while blockchain wallet can signed message only using its imported address and not the watched only address. If you're using another wallet you can export the private key of the address you want to have a signed message then import it to the wallet I mentioned except for exodus since it doesnt have an import feature..

Find the tab where you can signed message, it has 3 textbox on it, for the address you want to have a signed message, your message, and the signature which will be generated after you clicked the sign button..

If the particular address is a part of your blockchain.info HD wallet, follow these steps, otherwise ignore it.

(You must have your Recovery phrase/Seed before proceeding)

First, You must get it's private key

Download this and run it offline: https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39. Paste your seed there and you will see your address/es and its corresponding private keys at the "Derived Addresses" section. To toggle between accounts, Change the number on the "account" field where 0 is your default account, it means your 2nd account will be "1" and the 3rd will be "2" and so on.. (Use Ctrl+F to easily find the address you want)

Lastly, Download this and run it offline: https://github.com/OrdinaryDude/offline-bitcoin-signer. Paste the private key, enter your message and hit "Sign"

P.S. I tested this and verified the signature through coinig

Could it be also possible to import seed to wallet apps like mycelium? So there would be no need to download a wallet to PC. And on mycelium signing messages is very easy. But I didn't try it out yet, because I don't use blockchain anymore.

If I'm not wrong, mycelium also uses BIP39 for their seed so you should be able to import it although it requires you to have a fresh start first. Meaning to say, if you are already using it of course with an account/s in it, there will be no option where you will be able to import another wallet through a seed unless you had cleared the data. Remember when you first opened the app, it asked you to create a new wallet or restore from another right? It should revert to that state.

If you insist on signing a message through mycelium, you can use the tool I mentioned in my previous post and import it there.

Since we're talking about importing you can just use electrum as the process will be more easier compared to mycelium although I don't recommend importing just for signing a message since the access to your funds will be available to multiple sides (Based on the number of wallet/s you import to).

Tutorial: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/restoring-your-standard-wallet-from-seed

*When electrum prompts you to enter your seed, Click options and tick the BIP39 Seed Box
