For those looking to avoid PayPal (and the like) - I highly recommend GoldMoney.  It's a 'digital currency' also - but it's backed by physical gold.  I am currently selling BTC for GoldMoney (called goldgrams or 'gg') and the transactions are uber-fast and when they're done... they're done.
