Is there a way to turn off sig banners?

I'd like to turn off sig banners, but keep text signatures. Is this possible here?

Other than that, you can only choose between disable all signatures or none at all (even the text ones will be disabled).

Profile -> Look and Layout Preferences -> Don't show users' signatures.

Forum profile information, right under signature box, where it begs you not to disable them. (wait, EDIT: you could use adblocker to manually disable the background of signatures).
