Why EDC is not yet listed on exchange?
A long time ago, I heard the dev confirmed to be very soon listed on the exchange.
Just for fun, I've long since lost my belief in Cryptonight coins

The roadmap clearly says Q1 for the exchange listing. Q1 incase you didn't know means January 1-March 31 which means it potentially can be march before we see it in an exchange. Everyone is aching for an exchange launch asking questions that are clearly answered in the announcement page..

Let's always hope, you will have beautiful dreams  Grin

It would be nice if EDC was listed in some multi-wallet software like Jaxx : https://jaxx.io/
That would hit a lot of new potential users...

There's the team develops multi-wallet. Watch links in my signature and read their whitepaper and other info.
Maybe EDC could be there too

I made the decision to comment the  Reddit post
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/7rwku1/bitcoin_matters_not_because_its_fast_cheap_or/

citing Electronic Dollar as a possible alternative coin to mitigate the issues currently present in  Monero and Bitcoin. I'm perfectly aware that can be exchanged for pump and dump but it wasn't that the aim of my comment.

I also had the pleasure to start to study and  play with the Electronic Dollar code released on Github and it looks like it is not just like many other Monero forks.

IMHO I believe the dev-team can reach an interesting point due to their intent.

Interesting roadmap, mainly I like the idea of joining paypal and crypto, it can go very well, what should go out as soon as possible this clear is a gnu portfolio although I have no problem with the console format. Well good news for all the miners and it seems that this is something that goes forward.

WTF is this spate of 1-2 post newbies praising edollar, and with marginal English?

If anyone with a decent posting history here would like to sell some edollar I'm making a similar offer to the one I made in the Dero thread.

I'm offering a $100 CANADIAN prepaid mastercard for 40,000 edollar to help give this coin a bit of real world value.

This is also the account name I use on Reddit

I can sell 20,000 EDC for $ 100  Smiley

I genuinely appreciate the offer!

Right now it's looking like 27.5kh/s will yield 40k edc in 24hr roughly or around 14 - 14.5 Sumo ($100 USD)

After factoring in the risk of picking up an unlisted coin I felt that $100 CAD ($80.14 USD at posting) would be fair

Edit: Corrected post to reflect that I was refering to the hashing power required in 24hr for those coins

I yesterday bought a power on naisheesh having spent 100 dollars and received at it 29 thousand coins. the complexity was lower in half

That's fair, however, I have a rig or two so it would be hard to justify paying more than my original offer

Is there anybody who successfully compiled the daemon on Ubuntu 16.04 recently?

I've seen on GitHub that somebody else had the same issue as me but no reply from dev so far.
