I think that you should decide on your own than to listen what MCcafee says. XVG has potential as it is an anon coin - coin that is related to privacy which is hot trend in terms of cryptocurrency right now. It could hit 15$ per coin why not? Having in mind that we are close to 2018 when more people could potentially jump into cryptocurrency arena in search of gold trend. Do I believe that XVG is best privacy coin out there - I don't I still see xmr aka monero that have better quality features but this doesn't mean that XVG won't go up.

The latest run up to $0.24 was definitely a pump, and now it's coming back down to the correct price. I remember the price increasing like 150% within a single day, which was crazy. Rather than the current price point, I'm more interested in the problems that people keep referring to, that are among the development team.

This coin definitly have a nice future though its on a little dump tday because of bitcoin price jumps. But I believe this is the coin we should hodl.

In my eyes the coin is shit... the technology is nothing special and its a fork for dark doge or doge what ever.... both nothing.

I bought very cheap so i dont care i made enough profit but i was not able to sell at the ath since the team is just retarded and did not set up enough electrum servers. It took about 2 days by new servers were deployed and i think it was someone from the community not the team, since the dev was asking who set the servers up in discord. So everyone who had this shitcoin in a electrum wallet was unable to sell or just move it. Yesterday maybe the same? i read on reddit from someone who was unable to sell since coinomi did not work properly.... I mean not a bad move shut down all electrum servers, the electrum wallet is recommended by the team on their website.... xD

Then the team is not active on the official twitter or other social media but on the private ones so it is really intransparent if anything what is talked on the private accounts is really true.
Hours later you get maybe something on official channels.

Next point they banned me and many others from their discord and even blocked the access for new members for no reason!
The github does not look really as they are actively developing the project. If i watch other coins there is much more action.

For me XVG is nothing. They are unprofessional as fuck!

I just checked its information on CMC and found that the XVG has a lot of potentials and especially that it still goes up while the market is struggling and going down, which proves its stability is very High, I believe that choosing it will bring us great surprises.

Iam not a big fan of Verge and I don't usually buy in FOMO. The moment there  is a hype and you already see that it pump, better not chase it or you will lose instead of getting profit. Look for other potential altcoin that is not yet rising and diversify your portfolio.
