I think the first batches are shipped in January.
Ian difference is that t is the new version with touch screen and color screen for enhanced safety during entering your information.

It will also support more altcoins u believe.

yes it was hacked, but it must be stolen and breach into the tool, but the producer is claiming that they fixed it with new firmware.7

Definitely wait. If you are in a hurry better get Ledger Nano S. You will get much more for your money.
