Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

$340 USD or the equiv based on mtgox weighted for the 1/4 oz. However I will need some sort of proof other than your word its real for its authenticity. On Silk Road (yeah that place that sells drugs and illegal stuff), there are many fake coins you can buy, so thus I am very hesitant to buy any gold or silver from someone who also deals in BTC.
