I personally feel the high price was a catalyst for the correction. People sold more coins than usual to buy Xmas gifts, because the price was very high before Xmas. A sudden flood of coins on exchanges, caused a massive drop in the price and this triggered a mini dump by speculators in the Bitcoin markets.

People will once again start hoarding their coins and the price will go up again.

As a newbie in Bitcoin, you must understand how the Bitcoin price works. There are two things called 'fluctuation' and 'volatility', look it up.
