Hi guys!

I started mining terracoins on my BTC miners a few days ago and I decided to transfer them to Cryptsy.

They never showed up!

I search the info on the terracoin blockchain, and nothing.

here is a screenshot of my mined blocks and the transfer to my cryptsy account

Can somebody explain WHAT THE?!?

I was read the other day that it's under attack and/or some sort of fork. But I'm not certain that it's the case.

Have you upgraded to the latest TRC wallet?

Have you upgraded to the latest TRC wallet?

Yup.  #44.

Did you run -reindex once if you upgraded after block 175000? Is your client currently on block 175140? (Latest showing on TRC explorer web site.)

If you were on a fork and mined the coins on the fork, they are gone. (Never existed as far as block chain is concerned.)

If you were on a fork and mined/had the coins before the fork, you should see them re-appear in your wallet once you reindex since they were never sent in the real block chain.

If I typed it right, the send transaction doesn't exist so it was never sent on actual block chain.

The question is when you mined your coins. Hard fork was at 175000, anything you mined before that should still be in your wallet once you sync up.

I tried looking at the oldest mined block in your screen shot,

http://trc.cryptocoinexplorer.com/address/1EmTxEyAy151kdEmDSjKRseEcquR7dCB4v

If I typed it right, that doesn't exist. So I have to guess you mined it after the fork and were on the wrong chain.

Once you are back in sync anything mined before 175,000 should be back in your wallet. If you hadn't done the mandatory update before 175,000, then your coins mined after that don't exist.

Looks like my client kept mining on the forked chain.

I was running -42, upgraded to -44, did a -rescan. Now I got a bunch of coins that are unconfirmed and probably never will be Sad

Thats fucking shit.  Shouldn't terracoin-qt attach itself to the mainchain instead of continuing mining on an orphaned chain?!

Not completely right. 51% attacks are possible of course, but main issue leading to this fork was an exploit in the difficulty adjustment code which has been fixed.

No matter how much hash power you throw at the forked chain, it'll never become the main chain because the new version of the wallet will not accept it.

-42 somehow ended up off from -44 which was unfortunate. Sad

-rescan and -reindex don't do the same things BTW. -reindex makes sure your blocks are valid and in the case of -44, will make sure you are on the right chain. -rescan just makes sure your wallet isn't missing any transactions from your downloaded chain (good or bad).

Do the -reindex once please if you never have.

Gee! Andrew, you are such a shlemazl Grin

First BFL cuts you out of your Little Single that you won in their ad contest and now you start mining Terracoin when they are on an orphaned chain.
