Same as yours, I was pursuing myself to regain my loses to the point that I almost lost everything I have. I lost control of everything I don't even know why am I still going (at that time), my friends our stopping me but I'm resisting not until I win my loses back. They already have given me the chance to leave and avoid further loses but I don't know why or what pushes me to stay at that very moment. Also, there's an instance when I already won enough that I could already pay my own tuition fee before but instead to stop I kept on going until I lose everything. Those were the moments I regret the most.

One of the biggest mistake a gambler can do is to keep going despite experiencing losses to the point that they won't have anything to bet. We all know how tempting gambling can be. That was totally true. In gambling you must have goal of winning everyday. Just like if in this day I want to win like $1000 then when you already get what your goal of winning then quit the game for today. Because gambling can make you become greedy even though you get what you want, you still want more which is wrong that can lead you to lose all even your profit. Be contented enough and choose to control your self instead. In gambling you must be wise enough to let your self win all the time.

Just like you, the mistake of not cashing out after winning big. I think almost every gambler have made this mistake at one stage or the another at a point in gambling. For me if we can't control ourself (emotional) to reduce lose more money and set the budget. I think we can survive and not make a mistake.

It would be being over cocky and getting a lot greedy. It is not always that you win big in gambling but it is more often that you lose more in gambling than you win. I would say the worst mistake I've done is to gamble my already concrete winnings. Not only did I lose the winnings but I also lost a significant amount of the money I had in my initial bankroll. I guess the lesson there is to not be greedy.

Setting the wrong bet amounts sometimes happens to me too especially when my physical and psychic condition is dropping. Right now I am very cautious before betting. I have to make sure everything is set correctly before I take an action.
