Im tired of BCash supporters claiming 8MB is perfectly fine, and how their transactions are fast and cheap and their network is not becoming centralized, all while their blockchain is empty because most people don't transact there, and all while Bitcoin gets spammed by bad actors every now and then.

I was wondering: When will some BTC billionaires sponsor a good "stress test" for the BCash blockchain? let's expose them. Let's see what happens when there's an huge chunk of spam transactions at a certain block height and they aren't able to properly download the blockchain (has anyone tried to download ETH's blockchain? exactly). Most people don't learn until they experience it, so let's make BCash's blockchain a mess by making them eat the same medicine BTC blockchain has to eat. Maybe they'll learn then how hueg blocks aren't that good of an idea.

It really is sad to see that some people have so much pride that they can't take competition.

Let them be, it is their right to have their own crypto if they think something is wrong with BTC.
Don't attack them just to shut them up. Everyone should be able to be critiqued. This is what free speech is all about.

I feel like the volume(stress) is already pretty high and increasing everyday and there is no issues.

Are you sure about that?

Transactions
~490k - Bitcoin
vs
~35k - Bitcoin Cash

Block Size
~970kb - Bitcoin
vs
230~460kb - Bitcoin Cash (with some spikes of not more than 1.5mb)

I think this year it will hit similar stress levels. With the fast adoption I think it's inevitable, but how BCash will perform is definitely up for debate.

Bitcoin Cash can carry off 8x more transactions in one block than our bitcoin. Why do we need bad for btc or btc cash? Hope these spam transactions will end and people use to for real reasons but ah, it won't happen. Use high speed internet and download if you wish... I even support blocks with more than 32mb size. Bitcoin has potential to become 10x more famous so we have to consider this fact and allow higher block sizes. Why are you against this or didn't I understand correctly? Currently internet speed isn't problem for most people and in future more will be covered.

I have no problem at all with free market competition.

The problem is when the other side is attacking us constantly with mempool spam, while claiming that our network is unusable, and while claiming they have the solution, which is a complete lie since they are selling a centralized scam, which would be exposed immediately if the network got saturated. Once people saw how BCash would collapse with full blocks and once people see them getting kicked out of the network (not being to run nodes) they would change their mind and realize why decentralization isn't cheap, at least with today's technology.

@cellard. Good luck in propagating all those full 8mb blocks hehe. I reckon some bitcoin cash nodes will hang and shut down if the blocks are full on a daily basis. Then when that happens, the whole network will become so slow as some nodes try to catch up to have the latest blocks.

But the majority of bitcoin cash nodes are all located in Alibaba so it would not be a problem hehe.

Attacking people that you think are bad is not only wrong, but also arrogant. You don't try to destroy someone, because you are confident that they are trying to destroy you. As you shouldn't escalate or even sustain conflict, neither should you act as someone whose opinion is worth more then someone else's. The truth is that no group should be able to stop Bitcoin and if you are worried that it can, then you should reconsider your support for it as there will eventually be bigger and bigger attacks on it.

You shouldn't attack people who you think are hurting you, you should try to help them understand. And if you think you can't then you need to think some more, as their lives and wellbeing are just as real and valuable as yours.
