[ANNOUNCEMENT] Crypto Street now open for a public beta

We've posted on the forums a few times (as well as other places) and have garnered significant interest in our platform. There's been some buzz and some disappointments with us meeting our projected timelines, but today, I'm pleased to announce that Crypto Street is open to the world! Here's what we're about:

• Three currency pairs to start with: BTC/LTC, BTC/FTC and LTC/FTC
• Support for limit orders only right now until we get some more traction in our order book
• NO FEES during this special public beta. No trading fees, no deposit fees, no withdrawal fees
• Dead Sexy UI
• Real customer support, just ping Yaniv by emailing support@crypto.st
• Fast execution for our cryptocurrency exchange
• Multiple Cold Storage Wallets

There's a whole list of things that we'll start doing soon, but those announcements will come in due time. In the mean time, enjoy and please do provide honest feedback.

After perusing it, it looks like you're not going to specialize in arbitrage, like you had mentioned in your original post back in April.   Are those plans shelved or are they the ones you hinted at adding for the future?

Astute observation sir. the engine is still fully functional for that, but there are reasons that are causing delays. So rather than pursue that route at launch, we're opening up our beta without it.

You can expect it in the future, market conditions permitting.

Quick update. A lot of people were asking about the order system that we had in place. We had decided to try something new and have users literally speak what they wanted to do. To accomplish this, we created a sentence:



Some of you loved it, others couldn't stand it. So now if you click Standard Order Entry, you'll see something that you're more used to:


The other thing is the fact that we "switched" the pairs that people are used to. I explained the reasoning for this in my blog post but it comes down to that's what the rest of the world is doing.

Finally, our goal is to be the number one bitcoin to litecoin exchange by December 1st, 2013. So any help that you can provide in that, would be greatly appreciated.
