This comment expains it all:

I'm thinking most of the people trash talking here are just trying to drive the price lower so they can buy more cheap.

No it wasn't quite ready to roll at the release date, there were set backs which are completely understandable as it happens in nearly every industry. The fact still remains that this is a huge step forward from 3 coins that are practically brand new on the scene.

Not only not ready, but they put up this amazing hype with a timer. Then when the release failed, instead of being honest, they went with the good old "Because of concerned e-mails we need another 24 hours for DDOS protection"-lie.

When that failed, they first asked for 3 more days, yeah you all remember that nice picture with the cute kids. When people were angry and laughed at that, they went back and said it will be released tonight. Well "tonight" is now 8 days ago and we still haven't heard anything new.

Oh, and there is also the casino that was ready to be released "within days", but that is now months ago. If that was not enough the exchange was also to be released within a week. That is about 4 weeks ago...

Do you guys start to see a pattern here? Been a lot of hype, but nothing to show for it.

And finally just to rub it in, from the great PHX PR-team:

Block explorer seems dead though Tongue
edit: they are working on the block explorer Smiley

Seems like these great developers have been working 10 days+ to get the blockexplorer (one of the most important resources for any coin) to work, but like everything else, just empty promises  Grin[/b]

that being said if they deliver what they promise it will be great, but they aren't reliable.

They just fucked up the releasedeadline, like many releases on this forum. I know it's demonstrated at the Bitcoin Conference so if it was a scam, they would have went through a lot of trouble to pull us a leg.

I won't worry about it. It will be released or it won't be. If it won't be released, unocs is over, with all 3 coins supporting it. If it is released, it's big.

So finalise, I saw you are full time at denigrating everything that has to do with Unochs, but to be realistic: you are just helping them, putting them in the victim role.
Your accountlog doesn't show anything else but bashing, why are you in altcoins anyway?

Was your account made to support UNOCS? I am sick of their empty promises. It was not only UNOCS, it was a complete list of services from the Phenixteam which never came. And yet again I read in their main thread SOON it will come. This is starting to look like GOX,but the difference is GOX actually did something.

Warning to all members! DEVS of PXC just lowered the retargeting of the coin drastically! 30000 coins more day, this is their thanks to the loyal miner!

See the scam unfold here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=266377.0

INstead of delivering work the devs are changing the whole game!

DId you check the PXC thread? FTC and WDC may have real intentions but the PXC devs just changed the target!

Not a scam per say.. But more like big headed wishful thinking.

Maybe it will work. Maybe not. It looks like someone has spent a lot of time and effort on it that's for sure.

Even if it does work I can't say that I really like the idea all that much. To 'central bankish' for my tastes..

I want a currency that is more anonymous and people powdered. not managed by some "community" of developers.

No matter what happens I will continue pushing other Alt-coins..

All coins outside of maybe LTC or BTC are based on hype.  I have a feeling this will change as people want more from their altcoins and as development catches up.

With three of the more popular scrypt-based altcoins teaming up their dev efforts, UNOCS could be ahead of the game.

It could be hype, but at some point, they need to deliver.  I believe they will.

Damn exciting stuff!   Grin

Don't attribute to malice, that which can be explained by incompetence.  I would say there is a good chance they really do believe their own hype.  It is similar to how most business fail and most of those failures aren't scams.  They just fail due to bad business plans, unrealistic goals, poor management, outside factors, etc.

they just want the coins be survived, otherwise they will go nowhere (not sure they will go anywhere now either).
