EDIT 2:
Edit 2:    I am no longer paying escrow fees for a loan.
However, if you'd like to loan me the money, I will still accept terms similar to the ones below, 10% interest, 7 Business day repay time, escrow. PM me.

EDIT: I will leave .54 BTC in escrow with whomever you like. You will send me .67 BTC

Upon your retrieval of the .7 BTC by 8/11, the escrow will send me back .51 and keep .03
Upon your not retrevieval of the .7 BTC, you will receive .5 BTC, and the escrow will keep .03

Your risk if I don't repay: .17 BTC
My risk if I don't repay: .41 BTC

Hello. I need a loan, and would not like to post my personal information online. (I am willing to send it PGP!)
I also don't want to deal with the hassle of current "lending sites."

My wallet address is 1KDAzHRmLZFPZmXT5eJMLepKZ8bLithhDc

I will send it to the wallet you send it to me from, or you can post the return address here or in a PM.

Thank you!

I would cover the loan, but only if you could guarantee you would use it to play poker online and win.

I can also take a .7 BTC loan, leaving .54 in escrow with whomever.

That makes sense!

What's the point of the escrow?  If you're scamming you're going to be up the same amount with or without escrow and the loaner will be out the same amount.

That is incorrect!.

Since I'm loaning less than the amount of the escrow, I will lose .41 BTC if I do not repay.

It's a .2 BTC risk with a .03 return

15% interest is pretty good.

Interesting concept. I won't go for it, but I'll watch carefully.

Won't you be up .13BTC if you don't pay?

Um. For some reason I thought no... But now that you put it this way I don't see why.

Oh. No. I won't be up, because the escrow will be holding .54 BTC

If you don't understand, don't take the loan.

If you don't understand, don't take the loan.

So, you send .54 BTC to an escrow.
Code:
Balance: -0.54 BTC
Now you get .67 BTC from a random mugu.
Code:
Balance: +0.13 BTC
Now you run away, as you planned to.
Escrow gives back the .54 BTC to loaner.

You earned 0.13 BTC.
And loaner exchanged .67 BTC for .54 BTC.

Or did I miss something ? Huh

Yeah nothing makes sense here.  Just ask for a 0.13 BTC loan.
