Disclaimer: The text below is a personal opinion of the author. If you have a different opinion, please share it

ICO causes more and more distrust - thanks to the scammers. At this point, companies that produce and sell tokens are more focused on the product. The product is being developed and improved. And all before the token sale.

The fact is: those companies that enter the token market with a readymade product are more trustworthy. Now, few people are interested in a company that launches ICO just to make a name and earn a lot of money.

ICO is a serious campaign. It requires great resources and professionalism.

There are many companies on this path. Recently, Pavel Durov announced the creation of a light wallet and the release of the Gram token on the Telegram platform. Here is another example - KickCity, a company that has existed for two years. KickCity is engaged in the development of the event industry and issues a KCY token for further expansion of the company.

What is more, you can get tokens for testing KickCity beta. You can get reward for testing this platform https://kickcity.io/event/5a9d11030cf2cac8e081f3e8
I seriously doubt that it will be the end of ICO's altogether,  but with parliament around the world passing judgement, we will see a significant reduction in the number of coin offerings cropping up! In a way, regulation is a good thing at this point, because the sooner we recieve guidance, the better.

"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

We hope to ico's will die in 2018 but according the some statements, The investment collected in the first quarter of 2018 is more than the total of 2017 for ICO's.

I don't think they will as more and more people are looking into cryptocurrencies. I think we will see a shift / change to increase investor's confidence.

No they won't die, ICO is not some kind of money game or for playing. Its  a real business that really need professionalism and high intention to make a project. They just begin the era and it will keep growing and improving.

The ICO sphere must undergo significant changes in order to clear itself of fraud and become attractive to investors. I think that 2018 will determine further directions of development and bring this sphere to a new level.

I think the ICO future never dies, as it brings in huge profits from it and more and more people are seeking and entering the cryptocurrencies market. I hope that the year 2018 will determine the direction of further development and bring the field to a new level.

I've seen so many ICO's on 2018 maybe that's more than in 2017 , so definately ICO is not dead. ICO will live for a long time. The only one reason I see that banks more credits with better conditions to the small and middle companies. And we won't need ICO after that but now when banks have huge profit and oligopoly we'll see a lot of ICO's. In general ICO's idea that you can raise money before product or prototype and made a company. You won't need banks or investors , you don't need to share your company with big money. ICO can help company raise money and concentrate on product or marker or marketing.

I think that in 2018 there will be more true ico projects
Because against the background of the fact that now about 95% of  ico projects are scam, people will do everything to be believed by them  Cool

I think that on the contrary there will be selection among ICOs, people already know how to identify scams, so very soon I think we will have good projects mostly.

ICO's will not die. I have a more interesting question - will most of them switch from Ethereum platform to some other?

I do not think that ICO will disappear so quickly and disappear at all. Certainly there will be changes in the legal part and form of presentation, sale. And this is necessary to protect investors from scam. There is really a lot of scams. However, the idea itself is very good. It opens up great opportunities for both the founders of start-ups and investors. Almost any person can participate and make money on this, legally naturally.

I think ICO is unlikely to die because many invest people are investing in ICO, perhaps with many people saying if ICO is going to die because now many ICO are scam and by 2018 altcoin can split the place for ICO platform well, because many ICO is fraud, and with so many people who think if you know this ICO will die

There are a lot of ICO, only those ICO which are not created for development will die, as long as there are people who are wiling
to invest and trust ICO, it will continue to run and we will see new ideas coming in.

I think ICO won't die in 2018 because ICOs introduce new and better technologies that can be used in the blockchain with this ICOs going, more and more companies are attracted to join in the blockchain network.

No, ICOs are great decentralized investment mechanism for technology development. The market has come a lot of money, they will have to go somewhere. Despite that ICOs would increase in 2018. I believe the ongoing year to be a bigger year for ICOs and altcoins to progress in a large scale along with bitcoin.

I think things are getting more interesting for ICOs. We will see who are really serious to make it possible despite of Ad bans and slow movement in the market. A true project would not really care about the money if they're aiming to succeed.

ICO in 2018 will be even more than in 2017. It seems to me that since in 2018 ICO will be very much and their quantity will only grow, but at the same time the quality of ICO will improve due to competition. In this regard, the market will be more quality and truly seafood products.   Wink
