Try using nitrogensports wallet this is the current issue that bitcoin is facing right which is why one of the biggest online gaming stores namely steam stop using bitcoin as mode of payment in their games due to the high transaction fee it is requiring I mean the miner are requiring a higher fee for their services, would they even consider lowering their transaction fee.

Yes. It is crazy after you find out that you must pay more than $20 for a single transaction. I appreciate if anyone of you can share any solutions for this problem. Btw, I use Etherum and Litecoin now for transactions purpose.

Yeah, it is the main problem right now it bitcoin. Its ever growing transaction fees. I don't think we can blame the miners, it was due to the congestion that the blockchain can't handle resulting to slower processing of transactions. Users tends to use higher transaction fees for faster confirmation of a transaction.

that's how it is right now, there's nothing you can do except use some other wallet, like xapo. But yes, using some other coin can be a solution as well. Depends pretty much on the price... so yeah... nothing you can do about it except use some wallets like bitcoin core, armory, Mycelium Wallet,etc.. or use some other coin for transactions.

Need some spare btc for a new PC that can at least run Adobe Dreamweaver.

I think the bakers have taken over and the writing is on the wall to get out
because once again BTC is not living up to what it said on the box of having
"Virtual free transactions costs" and i will not be blackmailed by miners or
bankers.

No point having a car if the road does not work so I will be using Segwit2x to
move money because i cannot afford any fees over $1.00 never mind paying
$40 for a slow transaction speed.

Mining is CPU-wars and Intel, AMD like it nearly as much as big oil likes miners wasting electricity. Is this what mankind has come too.

They are pretty high right now, the only thing that you could do is just try to use a segwit wallet, just as Ledger Nano, Trezor Wallet. Or just use an exchange who has segwit integrated, just like binance.

Yes, there is a possibility that bitcoin will lower its fees in the near future. A technology enhancement called "light network" is being implemented right making the transaction faster. The reasons why there are high fees right now is because of the slow transaction process going on in bitcoin.

Bitcoin transaction fees are too high that even Steam stopped supporting bitcoin as a payment. Do transactions using fiat money. Yes, bitcoin is better because transactions are anonymous but it is too pricey.

Transaction through other altcoins still offers that. Right now, its not suitable to use bitcoin for your daily transactions. It should be kept for a long term investment.

Transaction fees are a part of the system of bitcoin and i think this is how it gains profit for all of the support they need to keep the system running alive. But i guess they need to set a standard on how much fees will affect the rates of what we are sending.

After paying fees also it is hard to confirm a transaction because of miners who are looking for high price. i think if this will be increasing in future, then people have to change for another coin.

This is a problem for Bitcoin that they need to get fixed. The network gets bogged down the more transactions there are. Bitcoin will most likely be a coin for storing value in the future because of the high fees and slower transaction times unless they can come up with a fix for it.

Looking at the sudden price rise from november, many people has been going to cash out when the bitcoin price is high
And with that many transaction,it's no wonder that fees is also become high,so either use other coin or wallet that can change the fees of transaction

May be you noticed that BTC price is not 2k $ at present Smiley BTC fees increased in 10 times accordingly with bitcoin price.

Using a Segwit wallet you’ll have lower fees. I don’t know how low, though, as I have got one recently, but I haven’t sent any BTC, but that’s what I’ve read. I suppose until lighting network gets implemented fees will keep high no matter what wallets you use but for that we’ll have to wait for a while.
