Code:
Cost / BTC   Giving     Wanted
11            1 BTC      11 EUR
11            2 BTC      22 EUR

If I understand this correctly, the order book  has 3 share to sell @11 and 33 to buy @11 (why cant you just use "bid" "ask"?Smiley.
How is this possible and why are those trades not executed or are those sell orders orders "all or none"?

I didn't look earlier, but right now there are still those two open orders you noted but no open orders at all for people wanting to buy BTC at any price.

LOL. I went back to the Order book page an realized, I completely misread it (at the time there was no "People offering EUR for BTC".

Design suggestion 1:
Can you please place Bid and Ask as two columns next to each other.
It is easy to follow even when you have tens or even hundreds of bids and asks. No need to scroll up and down.

Good example is  http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/mtgoxUSD_depth.html

Code:
Bid Ask
14.51 31 (1) 31 14.52 1 (1) 1
14.5 10 (1) 41 14.53 1 (1) 2
14.49 6 (1) 47 14.54 0 (1) 2
14.47 0 (1) 47 14.56 12 (2) 14
14.46 3 (2) 50 14.58 2 (2) 16
14.45 0 (2) 50 14.59 0 (3) 16
14.43 0 (1) 51 14.6 0 (1) 17
14.42 28 (5) 79 14.61 3 (2) 20
14.41 2 (2) 80 14.62 7 (1) 27
14.4 10 (1) 90 14.63 16 (2) 43
14.39 7 (2) 97 14.64 7 (3) 49
14.38 0 (1) 97 14.65 6 (3) 55

Really bad design:
BID (scroll like mad to find where Ask starts)
Code:
....
14.38 0 (1) 97
14.39 7 (2) 97
14.4 10 (1) 90
14.41 2 (2) 80
14.42 28 (5) 79
14.43 0 (1) 51
14.45 0 (2) 50
14.46 3 (2) 50
14.47 0 (1) 47
14.49 6 (1) 47
14.5 10 (1) 41
14.51 31 (1) 31

Thanx for scrolling all the way down here:

Code:
14.52	1 (1)	1
14.53 1 (1) 2
14.54 0 (1) 2
14.56 12 (2) 14
14.58 2 (2) 16
14.59 0 (3) 16
14.6 0 (1) 17
14.61 3 (2) 20
14.62 7 (1) 27
14.63 16 (2) 43
14.64 7 (3) 49
14.65 6 (3) 55
....

Design suggestion 2:
Add small, lets say 5 offerings max, to your Trade page, right under Buy and Sell form

Code:
Bid Ask
14.51 31 (1) 31 14.52 1 (1) 1
14.5 10 (1) 41 14.53 1 (1) 2
14.49 6 (1) 47 14.54 0 (1) 2
14.47 0 (1) 47 14.56 12 (2) 14
14.46 3 (2) 50 14.58 2 (2) 16

While reading what I wrote, use the most friendliest and relaxing voice in your head.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

We certainly have many plans to improve the site design and layout. The things you have suggested have been in the works for a while. The reason we have not updated them is because we have been building a design from scratch so hopefully very soon you will see totally new layout

Are there any plans to merge intersango.eu, britcoin and intersango.us?

I transferred some BTC to intersango.com this morning. For some reason, they are still not in my account, not even as "verifying". Is anybody else currently experiencing such problems?

Took my BTC at least 24 hours to arrive, both depositing and withdrawing. Got there safe and sound in the end, by carrier pigeon I guess. Smiley

Strange - britcoin was always very fast (not more than 2 hours I'd say). Then I'll hope I'll see them tomorrow morning Smiley

Today we had some complications which made us take longer than usual. Also EUR deposits which were received by today have been processed. We will try to do multi day processing and keep up with the load across all sites.

Just as a brief remark - all BTCs arrived - just took a bit longer. Spruce was right Smiley

The BTCs not appearing is a problem inherent in bitcoind which every week or two needs to be restarted. The way we have designed the new site we will have multiple instances of bitcoind running so this will not be an issue. Again, sorry about the delays yesterday, I do not have the authority to restart the bitcoind unfortunately.

Hmmm... this morning it was working pretty fast. Now, I'm waiting for the BTC to appear for some hours, again. Maybe ask the guys from bitmarket.eu - they have the fastest script I've seen so far Smiley

Hi,

We restarted. Often it doesn't crash but for some reason stops downloading the block chain. We have set it to restart every 10 minutes regardless of weather it crashes or not. Hopefully this will resolve the issue permanently
