Hi - wondering if anyone has any insight here.
I've been mining eth with 2 RX480s for months and i've been getting around 20Mh/s per card.
The hash rates on one of my cards has dropped to ~3Mh/s. I'm using Claymore v10.2 (was using an older version before i noticed this so just switched). What steps should i take to fault find please?
Many Thanks

using them bad? should i be getting a higher hash rate?
Okay so i just uninstalled my drivers and reinstalled the latest ones: 17.12.2
I have not modded my bios or overclocked the cards. I am using Windows 10 64 bit.
Since reinstalling my drivers i am now seeing 18Mh/s per card, which is what I'm used to (normal for my system).
Does this seem right?

give us your full system spec please . No , 18MH/s for a RX 480 cards are not good at all ... did you set the virtual memory at least 16GB ? We are talking about 4GB or 8 GB cards ? what is your system memory ? 1-2-3-4-8 GB ? what is in your .bat file ?

Intel i5-7600 16GB RAM 2x MSI RX 480 8GB EVGA 500B power supply
Do you need anything else?
I remember changing my virtual memory to 16GB at some point, will check it now.
my bat file is as follows:
GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:14444 -ewal [WALLET ADDRESS] -epsw x
edit: i've just changed the virtual memory to 16GB. still getting 18Mh/s per card.

I actually have the same issue with my wife's RX480 Sapphire Nitro
Tried a lot of tweaking of ram speeds and the card doesn't respond to anything really. It's still under warranty so I haven't tried flashing yet but I suppose that's the next step...

bit weird that i have 2 cards with the same issue though.
i actually started with about 25Mh/s but it's slowly dropping off if i remember correctly. do you think it's just wear and tear?

No wear and tear, I am mining with RX 480 Sapphire Nitro+ at 24.7 Mhsh standard hashrate and because my cards have Samsung memory without Bios mod but only setting memory to 2250 in MSI afterburner they mine at 27.9 Mhsh each. I believe you will have Micron or Elpida memory and if you don't know, download and install GPU-Z and it will show what kind of GDDR5 Memory your cards have (Samsung,Hynix,Micron or Elpida).

It's Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400MHz DDR4

try to put -dcri 30 in your bat file and play with the dcri number from 30 down to lower numbers ,it might help EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:14444 -ewal [WALLET ADDRESS] -epsw x -dcri 30 do you mean the brand of my memory (RAM)? It's Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400MHz DDR4
Its not your system memory , its the memory brand on your vga card that 8GB Do you have a original bios on the cards ? or you flashed the bios ? did you tried to switch the bios switch to the anoter position ? your cards have 2 different bioses

Im quoting myself from another topic , i hope my advice is going to help you also Im also suggest , place a -dcri 30 option in your bat file , and after followed my instruction , play with the dcri value , slowly start overclocking your cards use the latest claymores miner from HEREUse the AMD Blockchain Compute Driver from HERE- Uninstall you installed driver with DDU use safe mode - install blockcahin driver - make sure you set the virtual memory at least to 16GB - use claymore latest miner , dont do any overclocking yet , just see the hashrate for a 5-10 minutes ... , then close the miner , reboot your computer set the mem clock higher 2025 then 2050 , then 2075 then 2100 , you also need to do some change with the gpu max freq , and some undervolting Let us know how if its helped

Okay so the AMD mining driver seems to have made the biggest difference. now getting ~24.8Mh/s on each card.
I was reluctant to use it because i also play games when not mining, but the internet says game performance doesn't drop with it.
Thanks for the help all. Is there a thread here on how to overclock? I've never really looked into it, would i see much increase?
