Author Topic: Just moved my bitcoin from Multibit HD (now defunked) to Electrum (easy enough)  (Read 27 times)

but now I have two Electrum wallets, two pass words none of which work to locate my Bitcoins. Anyone...jump right in I would be most grateful.

Did you follow the video guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-KcY6KUVnY ? Huh

If so, did you take care to use the EXACT derivation path of: m/0'

Note that the apostrophe on the end is VERY important! Additionally, when creating the wallet, I would highly recommend that you use a very distinct name... like "ImportedMultiBitHDWallet" so you definitely know which wallet you want to open...
