I did something stupid.  I plugged in 2 of my U2's into (what ended up being) a 5v hub and applied a 12v power supply.
It fried my miners (smoke and all).

Is there any hope in repairing them?  It's mostly for nostalgic purposes.

If they let the magic smoke out you are pretty well hosed.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

They are pretty pointless aswell to be honest. Probably wont even cover the cost of the elctricity they use.

Yeah, I don't plan on using it to mine for profit.  It's mostly nostalgic.  I'd hate to just leave it in a broken state, but it's starting to sound like there is no way.
